Here at wicked hippie, our brand, products, design, and lifestyle are greatly influenced by a mix of psychedelic culture and nature SO we have a lot to celebrate in the week ahead and wanted share with you some of our favorite ways!!

First up...

Bicycle Day

This Sunday, April 19th, is Bicycle Day, the celebration of the first ever recorded acid trip by the chemist who created the drug, Albert Hoffman, in 1943. 

If you've got a minute - here's a cool way to listen to the story of how this day came to be called "Bicycle Day" : ) 

 It probably goes without saying that one of the best ways to celebrate is by going out for a bike ride, wearing your favorite tie dye or psychedelic outfit, and maayyybeee taking a little mirco (or macro) dose while your at it ;)

Fungi Day

Fungi day is a newer celebration and falls on April 21st.

Of course, no fungi day would be complete without a Shroomin' Coolie Hat  (and if you don't know, now you know) so we will definitely be sporting ours all day. 

Ways to celebrate:

• Go on a mushroom hunt (aka go for a walk in the woods and look for mushrooms) and take pics of the different kinds you see! 
• Make your favorite mushroom dish
• Drink some mushroom tea (our favorite strains are Psilocybe Cubensis aka MAGIC mushies, Reishi, and Chaga)

And here's a little digital art designed by our very own Wicked Hippie, Tanner Hull. Titled "Must Shroom" and (*spoiler alert*) will soon be printed on your favorite Tea Mug!

 And last but certainly not least...

EARTH DAY!

... is April 22nd! WE LOVE YOU MAMA EARTH!!

We obviously love da earth considering we have a purse that outright says so and because, I mean, it's our home!!! We feel grateful to live on this wondrous planet. There is soooo much beauty to be seen and experienced and one of our favorite things to do on earth day is travel and explore new beautiful places. Although we can't travel right now, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate!

Here are some of our favorite ways:

• Plant flowers
• Start a vegetable garden
• Take a hike
• Have a picnic
• Recycle!
• Ride your bike or walk to the grocery store (instead of drive) 
• Donate to your favorite environmental charity
• Lay in an open field and watch the clouds go by <3 
• Stargaze the night away while cuddling with bae

And we'll finish our Earth Day salute with a few pics of one of our absolute favorite things on Earth, FLOWERS!
